Impact of Covid-19 on San Luis Obispo Clubs and Nightlife

The COVID-19 pandemic brought the whole world in a complete lockdown mode for few months. Even though things settled down and people started adapting to ‘New Normal’; yet, it had an huge impact on the restaurant industry. It is assumed that it will take months for San Luis Obispo Clubs to recover from the impact.

Financial Imbalance

During the lockdown period, financial imbalance was created for the clubs in SLO. Well, with no footfall of customers during the lockdown period, there was no way of earning cashflow like the restaurants who offered takeout or delivery service.

With several restrictions and regulations, nightclubs and bars knew it well that they had to follow social distancing regulations very strictly when they reopened.

In most of the San Luis Obispo clubs, they are only allowed to operate of they offer patio dining. Although clubs fear that they would have a low footfall, but studies show the opposite. People love open-air ambiance and now prefer to dine in the open.

Live Music with Limited People

To avoid gathering clubs in SLO are going for table booking. So only a few customers are being allowed to visit the clubs or bars at a time.

Whether the impact would be good or bad can be assessed only after certain period of time.
