The COVID pandemic has changed the whole lifestyle of people. Initially, during the lockdown, restaurants to clubs in SLO were completely closed. They were not allowed to operate. Only a few restaurants with takeout and delivery options available were functioning. The lockdown has been revoked completely but some POS needs to be maintained by the bars and clubs. Steps Taken
· Breweries or bars in San Luis Obispo need to follow the interim capacity as laid down on 13th March 2021. For instance, clubs or bars that serve drinks only can offer patio dining only.
· Even for patio dining, reservation is necessary. Without reservation no guest would be allowed entry into the premises. This can be a great way to ensure that both guests and also the staff are safe.
· Every clubs should abide by the rule of limited hour services. Beyond the time limit there shouldn’t be any service operation, i.e. any service for the guests.
· Indoor seating would be allowed only if the area is seeing less number of cases. But even for indoor dining, proper spacing must be kept so that guests are at a safe distance.
· Indoor seating can’t be made into full capacity. Rather, guests can be allowed up to 50%.
· Live music might not be allowed in some places; in fact, background music might be permitted.
· Indoor performance guide should be strictly followed by the bars in San Luis Obispo with proper seating as mentioned in the guidelines. Well, some bars are allowing only 25% capacity.
· Guests should be screened about the symptoms on arrival. Also, on arrival, they should be offered hand sanitizers.
